Zita has been a coveted performer in Québec ever since her career began three years ago. In that short period of time, her voice has garnered critical acclaim for its sensuous individuality - "a gift from God" as one admirer has said. She is perfectly bilingual, English and French, and sings in Spanish as well. In all three languages, her singing is noted for the clarity with which every word comes out.
She has been a member of the group One Ton (nominated for two awards at the Junos). Their hit SuperSexWorld burned up the charts in 2002. Zita has also backed up the Respectables and was flown in from Los Angeles to sing for their opening act to the Montréal Rolling Stones concert in January 2003. Featured in several articles and magazine covers, behind the voice is an articulate, beautiful woman. She has recently signed for the De facto anti-tobacco advertizing campaign.
